Agricultural Revolution Brochure

You are an Entrepreneur. Create a brochure for a tour company in Britain during the Agricultural Revolution. Your assignment is to advertise what customers will see on your tour. Below is a list of terms/attractions that you must include.

Enclosures – describe in your newsletter what an enclosure is, what new types of farming are happening on them (crop rotation, seed drills, reapers, etc.), warn your customers not to feed the begging tenant farmers looking for food and work.

Factories and new machines – On your tour you stop at a textile factory and your customers will have a chance to see how one operates. Explain what Britain’s factories power sources are, describe a few of the machines that they will see.

Transportation – This is the first time any of your customers have been on a train. Explain to them that it is safe. Be sure to describe the other new forms of transportation they will see on your tour (steam boat, wagons using a Macadam’s road, and of course the railroad).

You will need to come up with a name for your company. Your brochure needs to be attractive because you are competing against the other tour companies in the room.
